Jour<\/strong> 2 Aix-les-Bains – Seyssel via Rh\u00f4na 46 km<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Notre premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape nous conduit sur les deux rives du Rh\u00f4ne, sur la piste cyclable \u00ab Via Rh\u00f4na \u00bb. Bien cach\u00e9 \u00e0 l’entr\u00e9e de l’un des plus beaux canaux de France et au bord du c\u00e9l\u00e8bre marais Chautagne se trouve le village m\u00e9di\u00e9val de Chanaz. Le canal de Savi\u00e8re relie le lac du Bourget au Rh\u00f4ne. Cette situation attractive a permis un premier peuplement d\u00e8s l’\u00e2ge de pierre. Important lieu de transbordement de marchandises au Moyen-\u00c2ge, Chanaz est \u00e9galement appel\u00e9e la petite Venise.<\/p>\n

Les voies navigables ont toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 d’une grande importance. Visite et nous continuons sur la piste cyclable de la Via Rh\u00f4na en direction de Seyssel. Les cr\u00eates du massif du Bugey forment un arri\u00e8re-plan fantastique et d\u00e8s que les vignobles de Seyssel apparaissent, le village n’est plus tr\u00e8s loin. L’histoire de Seyssel est li\u00e9e \u00e0 la rivi\u00e8re et \u00e0 la navigation fluviale qui y est associ\u00e9e et qui a constitu\u00e9 une activit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique jusqu’au 19e si\u00e8cle. Jour<\/strong> 3 Aix-les-Bains – Lac et vignobles 60 km<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Nous commen\u00e7ons notre boucle autour du lac du Bourget sur une belle piste goudronn\u00e9e entre bateaux, lac et montagnes. C’est un plaisir de traverser le port d’Aix-les-Bains. Quelque 900 bateaux de plaisance se balancent joyeusement le long des pontons et forment un beau tableau avec le lac et les montagnes en toile de fond. Une magnifique balade autour du lac avec des mont\u00e9es occasionnelles qui permettent d’avoir une vue grandiose sur les coulisses du lac.<\/p>\n

Vers 1139, l’abb\u00e9 cistercien Am\u00e9d\u00e9e de Clermont fit construire l’\u00e9glise et les b\u00e2timents de l’abbaye d’Hautecombe \u00e0 son emplacement actuel avec l’aide des comtes de Savoie. C’est une comtesse de Savoie, en 1174, qui fut la premi\u00e8re \u00e0 \u00eatre enterr\u00e9e dans l’\u00e9glise. Cette coutume fut poursuivie par la plupart de leurs descendants au 13e si\u00e8cle, puis moins r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement et rompue au 16e si\u00e8cle. Apr\u00e8s la R\u00e9volution fran\u00e7aise, les d\u00e9pouilles des membres de la famille de Savoie ont \u00e9t\u00e9 regroup\u00e9es dans la chapelle des Princes. La situation des b\u00e2timents du monast\u00e8re est unique. Apr\u00e8s un court transfert, notre randonn\u00e9e \u00e0 v\u00e9lo commence aujourd’hui par Chamb\u00e9ry. D\u00e8s que l’on p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans la vieille ville, on est plong\u00e9 au c\u0153ur d’une architecture inspir\u00e9e du Pi\u00e9mont. Trompe-l’\u0153il et ferronnerie marquent ici l’image d’une ville exceptionnelle.<\/p>\n

Visite de la vieille ville avec la place Saint-L\u00e9ger, la cath\u00e9drale Saint-Fran\u00e7ois-de-Sales, la fontaine de l’El\u00e9phant qui est \u00e9troitement li\u00e9e au ch\u00e2teau des ducs de Savoie.<\/p>\n

Le magnifique parcours cycliste se poursuit, accompagn\u00e9 du d\u00e9cor des Pr\u00e9alpes et de l’Is\u00e8re, jusqu’\u00e0 Conflans. Une halte s’impose ! Le centre m\u00e9di\u00e9val du village, qui remonte au 12e si\u00e8cle, est pittoresque. Encore quelques kilom\u00e8tres et nous arrivons \u00e0 Albertville, ville de sports d’hiver et lieu d’accueil des Jeux Olympiques. La randonn\u00e9e \u00e0 v\u00e9lo d’aujourd’hui est marqu\u00e9e par des p\u00e2turages, des petits villages savoyards et surtout des passages \u00e0 couper le souffle, comme par exemple le passage sur le Pont de l’Ab\u00eeme jusqu’aux Gorges du Fiers. Les gorges du Fiers comptent parmi les principales curiosit\u00e9s des Alpes. Depuis 1869, les gorges sont accessibles par une passerelle de 252 m\u00e8tres de long, fix\u00e9e 25 m\u00e8tres au-dessus de la rivi\u00e8re. A l’int\u00e9rieur des gigantesques gorges coule le Fier, accompagn\u00e9 d’une accumulation de blocs de roche aux formes int\u00e9ressantes. Un jeu naturel d’ombres et de lumi\u00e8res, des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes d’\u00e9rosion accompagnent cette impressionnante randonn\u00e9e. L’une des premi\u00e8res pistes cyclables de France a \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9nag\u00e9e autour du lac d’Annecy. Peu de passages de voitures et toujours cette vue magnifique sur le lac et les panoramas de montagne environnants avec le Mont Veyrier, le Mont Baron, le Tournett et le Taillefer ainsi que des centaines de parapentistes. Un parcours cycliste agr\u00e9able ! Dans un premier temps, nous profitons de l’atmosph\u00e8re sans d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 notable. Le pique-nique est l’occasion d’un plongeon dans le lac.<\/p>\n
