Day 1 Arrival in Reims
Your cycling vacation begins in Reims. After arrival, you will have the opportunity to visit this beautiful city.You can get in the mood for the weekend ahead with your first glass of champagne or enjoy your first tasting right away.
Day 2 Reims – Epernay 42 km
You leave Reims on the quiet towpath along the Aisne-Marne Canal. Then you leave the canal and cycle through the hilly landscape of vineyards. In the wine-growing village of Chigny-les-Roses, you should
definitely stop off—there are 41 wine cellars here that invite you to taste their wines. The route continues through the vineyards. In Ludes, you can enjoy a tasting at Canard Duchesne. The day’s stage ends in Epernay, where you can explore the Avenue de Champagne.
Day 3 Epernay – Hautvilliers – Epernay 47 km
Today you will visit the world-famous champagne producers Moët & Chandon or Mercier. During a guided tour followed by a tasting, you will learn more about how champagne is made. The route continues
through charming wine-growing villages and the typical landscape of the romantic Champagne region. After lunch, you can stop again for a tasting in Oger. This village is where the famous “Blanc de Blanc” is
produced. Afterwards, you will cycle back to Epernay. Now t’s time to depart. But of course, you also have the option to extend your stay.
Day 4 Epernay – Côte des Blancs – Epernay 46 km
