Your France à vélo Team
This is your France A Velo Team
With her extensive knowledge in the tourism industry and a special focus on group travelling, the native of Stuttgart settled in France, her home of choice in 1993. The accomplished travel management agent and qualified french tourist guide combines her passion for cycling with her broad knowledge of art and history. That way perfectly chosen bike tours develop and FRANCE A VELO guests are able to gain a deep insight into nature and culture of the most beautiful french regions.
She cannot commit to one favorite route, but there is a tendency towards the Breton coast in the Finistère.
As a former triathlete Philippe Trégouet is enthusiastic about cycling. His technical knowledge ensures the perfect administration and organization of more than 180 bikes and company owned cars. Another of his talents is highly appreciated on guided tours, as a frenchman he knows how to turn a picnic lunch into a special culinary experience.
Philippe prefers routes with as much incline as possible. His favorite tour: Mont Ventoux at sunrise.
The long serving employee manages the work in the office in three languages and coordinates the different operations and luggage transfers. Even with a constantly ringing telephone and and last minute bookings in the main season she knows how to remain calm thanks to her long-time experience at France à vélo. You can also meet Valérie at welcome meetings for individual FRANCE A VELO travellers and as a travel companion for weekend groups.
Her favorite french regions are the wine regions Bordelais, Burgundy and Alsace, she is an expert of wine culture after all.
Jasmina Strobl, born in Austria, works for FRANCE A VELO – in the office and on the bike – since 2016. Having studied political science and Slavistics, she speaks four languages and quickly specialized in the handling of individual bike trips and the supervision of the media.
You can also meet her as a travel companion for special groups in different french regions.
Her favorite route? The cycling paths along Loire and the Breton coast.
The seasonal team
During the main season in France, the FRANCE A VELO team increases by up to ten people. In every region of France you are awaited by Jacky, Jean-Marc, Sandra and all others to greet you with a warm welcome, hand over the rented bikes and ensure your luggage will be at the right place at the right time. They are highly appreciated on the few rainy days: you may board their minivan.
The office team in Burgundy is also supported every year. Marion, Susanne, Agnes and the seasonal staff assist the team during the main season.
