Day by day
Day 1 Colmar
Arrival in Colmar. Once you’ve left your luggage at the hotel in the town center, take time to flâner this magnifique town with its rich historical past: Little Venice seduces you with its canals, the Maison Pfister, the Bartholdi Museum, the Place de l’Ancienne Douane.
Day 2 Colmar – Rouffach – Kaysersberg 54 km
You leave Colmar and drive to Rouffach, a charming little village. Then you’re off to the vineyards. Magnific landscapes await you, punctuated by typical villages: stop at Eguisheim, put down the bikes and stroll through the heart of the village, with its fountains, school and ramparts. Eguisheim was named “France’s Favorite Village” in 2013.Your day comes to an end in Kaysersberg, after a a tasting of Alsace wines in Kientzheim.
Day 3 Kaysersberg – Sélestat – Colmar 54 km
You leave Kaysersberg on the Route des Vignes. This new stage is a little more challenging, taking you through the villages of Riquewihr and Ribeauvillé. From Saint Hippolyte, you can see the famous Château du Haut Koenigsbourg.Then you’ll head for the pretty town of Sélestat, nestled between the Vosges mountains and the Ried plain. Alsace’s Grand Ried is a veritable refuge of biodiversity. End your day’s tour in Colmar, and enjoy a final evening with a fine Alsatian meal.
Day 4 Departure
After breakfast, it’s time to say “Au revoir et à bientôt” to this beautiful region.
