An exciting weekend lies behind us. It was time again to start the tourism season with the CMT fair in Stuttgart, Germany. Hall 9 was once again dedicated to hiking and cycling holidays. Thanks to a visitor record of 90,000 visitors, interesting encounters arose again for us.

The days are getting shorter and the nights longer, it's cold and gray outside. You make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace while the bike is already stored in the basement and you drive to work by car. The gray weather takes away the pleasure in cycling anyway…. But that can be changed! With the right aspect of safety and weatherproof clothing, you can get on the saddle even in the cold months, get to know your surroundings in other facets and at the same time countless happiness hormones are released in the morning on the way to work.

„Fascinating, contrasting and beautiful” - those are the words that go through my mind after my first trip to Iran. Lost in thought, I'm sitting at the airport in Istanbul. With the other travelers we wait for our plane, which will bring us to Frankfurt, and thus back into everyday life. A cycle tour through Iran - my family and friends were convinced that I was out of my mind - but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

In April 2018 we had the pleasure to visit and to discover the Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, on our cycling trip with our lovely group from Brazil. Thanks to its gentile clime it is possible to cycling through the Bordelais the whole year through.
